Exhibion Hall of Remains

Exhibition Hall of Remains was at first built of wood in the inner side to the left to the current location of Chunguimun. And 'The diary during the war' by Yi Sunsin and other remains were showed to general visitors for the first time on 27th of April in 1962.

But after 'the diary during the war' was stolen and the door was broken on 31th of December in 1967, Chungcheongnamdo Board of Education rebuilt and enlarged the hall to a concrete building in Korean style of 'Matbaejip' with the area as 20 pyeong underground, 20 pyeong above ground on the current location.
However, on the 9th of september in 1968, it was removed for getting damp by consecrationg restructuring. And Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd donated a new stone palace ferroconcrete building. This building came to have the current stature by restructuring of korean way blue(green) tile and painting work to match to cultural landscape on April of 1974.

In the Exhibition Hall of Remains, about 100 pieces are on display including 9 pieces of national treasure no, 76 (7books of 'the diary during the war, one Imjinjangcho, one Seogancheop), 6 pieces of treasure no. 326 (two swords, one Yodae-belt, one Oklo-personal outfittings, a pair of Dobae) and 47 pieces of unassigned treasures.
