Old
house
Yi Sunsin lived in this house.
He got married when he was 21 to
the only daughter of Bang Jin who
was the chief of Bosung county therefore
the house of his wife became his
main house naturally.
The only remaining building that
has kept its shape of that time
is the main building of the house
which was built in wood in the traditional
Korean style.
The eldest grandsons of the main
family had kept on residing in this
house but they moved after giving
consideration and to keep the compound's
dignity and its holiness during
Hyeonchungsa Consecrating Construction
in 1969.
