The pond was made artificially as a part
of sacred construction work in 1972. A colored
carp and stone bridge are making landscape
of compound look better.
The size of pond is 200 pyeong, and it is
called "Bandoji"(Peninsula pond)for
it assume a form of Korean peninsula. the
pond that below of Yi sunsin's grave is
called "Aemaji"(loving horse pond)
for the horse that he rode was buried there.
