Bulhwasal, called Singijeon or Hwajeon, was a major weapon for attacking the enemy by fire. This weapon was used by the method that artillarymen put gunpowder in a powderflask, shot the gunpowder-filled powderflask with its wick burned and then burning enemy ships with it.
