Wiwonpo, a cylinder-type cannon ignited and fired by hand, was divided in three kinds, large, medium and small. This Sowiwonpo belongs to a small one. The closer its gun barrel to the porting of powder chamber is, the thicker the barrel is. The upper part of the barrel is round while the the lower is flat. An inscription indicating which king of large, medium or small Wiwonpo was carved in relief. Its total length is 61.5cm, the inner diameter of its muzzle is 4.5cm and the outer is 8cm.
