Namsoryeonggi is a signal flag which a commander used to give the command to a military officer. A red silk cloth cut in the shape of a letter "Yeong"is patched on a blue ground cloth.	Hongsoryeonggi is a signal flag which a commander used to give the command to a civil officail. A blue silk cloth cut out in the shape of a letter "Yeong"(which means a command)is patched on a red ground cloth.	Dokjeongi is a flag which a commander used to urge soldiers to fight vigorously.
