This is a writ of bestowment which was given by King Injo to bestow a posthumous name called"Chungmungon"(the Duke of Valor)to Admiral Yi in admiraton of his splendid lifetime achievents on 28 March 1643, the 45th anniversary of his death (the 21st year of the rein of King Injo). Admiral Yi has been also called Chungmugong from that time onward.
